How To Wash A Vintage Track Suit
Learning how to wash a vintage track suit will keep your track suit on your body and in your closet longer.

Vintage track suits are made from a material that requires special care. Washing your track suit properly will keep it looking sharp longer, but keen care is needed to maintain the lush feel of a vintage track suit.

These track suits are making a comeback, as most things do. Nostalgia is a big business in the United States and around the world. Vintage track suits are no different. Read on and learn the simple process of washing a vintage track suit.

To wash vintage track suits, you will need:

* A washing machine
* A dryer
* Mild detergent
* Your track suit

1. Set the washing machine to the delicate cycle. Turn the washing machine on at a water level of medium with cold water. Allow the washing machine to fill part way up before adding the mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners.
2. Turn your vintage track suit inside out. When the water and detergent has mixed, place the vintage sweat suit into the washing machine. Submerge it with your hands and then allow the washing machine to do its job.
3. When the washing cycle is complete, remove the vintage sweat suit. Place the vintage sweat suit into the dryer and set it on fluff/low heat dry. Remove it when done, and if the vintage sweat suit is not completely dry, allow it to air dry. Do not hang your vintage track suit on wire hangers; it is best to fold it and place it in a drawer.
