I came across that tidbit years ago, when reading one of the tame Regency romance novels I unashamedly love so.

At the recent Paris shows, John Galliano presented his Dior collection with a silhouette inspired by the famous ‘New Look', first presented in 947 by fashion master Christian Dior himself.
The outfit is composed of a very tight jacket similar to a bustier in its construction, paired with an extremely full skirt. The effect gives the wearer a sensuous hourglass shape.

With curlers, there are two different ways you can go, with heat or without it. I will briefly outline some steps to take while doing either process.
If you use heat, be it curling iron, hot rollers or foam rollers, make sure that you don’t follow the non-heat method of, “Wet your hair, then use a fine tooth comb to get out knot”, if you wet your hair and use heat, you will burn your hair!
